The MANTAN editorial team has picked out some recommended movies to enjoy in an air-conditioned theater during the summer holidays. We will introduce the movie "Jurassic World: Resurrection" (directed by Gareth Edwards).
This is a new chapter in the "Jurassic" series, following on from "Jurassic Park," which was created by master director Steven Spielberg in 1993. Spielberg served as executive producer, and the film was directed by Edwards, who has worked on films such as "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (2016) and "The Creator" (2023).
Set on the forbidden island where the top-secret research facility from the original "Jurassic Park" was located, covert operations expert Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) and her team embark on a mission to obtain the DNA of three species of dinosaurs: land, sea, and air, which are needed to develop a new drug that will miraculously cure heart disease. In the Japanese dubbed version, Zora is voiced by actor Wakana Matsumoto , paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis is voiced by Takanori Iwata of " J SOUL BROTHERS III from EXILE TRIBE," and Teresa, the eldest daughter of the family who embarks on an adventure with Zora and her friends, is voiced by Ai Yoshikawa.
This is the first film in a new chapter starring Zora. The scene where she is attacked by a dinosaur is very powerful. I would definitely like to experience it in large format.
