It has been announced that the first real event of the official community "Ichigo Pro Public Relations Department" of the popular manga "Oshi no Ko," which was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), "Oshi no Ko no Ko Celebrating 5th Anniversary of Serialization POP UP MEETING," will be held from August 29th to September 4th in the event space on the first floor of Shinjuku Marui Men (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo).
Ichigo Pro Public Relations Department is an official community that began service when "Oshi no Ko" came to an end in November 2024. Even after the series ended, it continues to be a place for fans to interact with each other through "oshikatsu" reports, mini-games, fortune telling, and more.
The event will feature multiple photo spots and will also sell 5th anniversary merchandise. Reservations for timed admission tickets will begin on the Ichigo Pro Public Relations Department website from 6:00 PM on August 8th. Admission is free.
"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who also wrote " Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, " and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who also wrote " Scum's Wish ." It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024. It tells the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of a genius idol named Ai. The younger twin, Ruby, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while the older brother, Aqua, vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have accomplices in Ai's murder. The comic has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season from July to October 2024. The third season will air in 2026. The live-action adaptation has also been a hot topic.
