It has been announced that Hatsune Miku will collaborate with the TV anime "Nmeneko," based on the manga by creator Shirimoto. The collaboration episode will be broadcast on TBS from 1:58 AM on August 14th, with Hatsune Miku making a special appearance. The collaboration episode will also feature a special theme song, "Negi Soldier," with lyrics and music by Yukopi and a music video by Tenteko.
To commemorate the collaboration, the key visual and sub-visual have been released. They depict Hatsune Miku, dressed in costumes inspired by Nmeneko and Usukuro, interacting with each other in adorable scenes. Merchandise commemorating the collaboration is also planned for sale.
"Nmeneko" is a manga that depicts the funny and amusing daily lives of cats who live carefree lives, wanting only to do fun things. The anime is directed by Tommy Hino and produced by Kumarba. Starring Megumi Han Han as Nmeneko and Hiro Shimono as Usukuro. It airs every Thursday at 1:58 AM on TBS.
