The 17th episode of the TV anime " Dandadan ," based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," titled "We're All Staying Overnight," will be broadcast on the late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" on MBS/TBS on July 31st.
Momo succeeds in rescuing Okarun. Momo and the others return home safely, but discover that Jiji is still possessed by the evil eye, and that if they pour cold water on him, he regains his evil eye, and if they pour hot water on him, he reverts back to Jiji. Momo and Okarun return to their normal lives, but as a countermeasure against the evil eye, Aira joins them and they decide to stay the night at Momo's house.
"Dandadan" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of psychics, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast, as they confront a succession of mysterious events. The comic has sold over 10 million copies in total. The first season of the anime aired on Super Animeism TURBO from October to December 2024. The second season will be directed by Fuuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora and produced by Science SARU.
