Kotomi Tachibana of the idol group "CANDY TUNE," who is popular on social media as "Yukiri Neki," has been revealed to be appearing in the new "Gaman Suru? Torafuru?" commercial for Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare's drug "Traful Direct a," which was released on July 25. This is the first time that Tachibana will appear in a commercial individually.
The new commercial is set in a Chinese restaurant and shows Tachibana, who is suffering from mouth ulcers, relying on "Traful Direct a" on advice from a Xiaolongbao fairy, and his troubled expression suddenly changes as he happily stuffs his cheeks with spicy chicken, his favorite food.
Regarding her appearance in the commercial, Tachibana said, "I usually use Traful, so for a moment I was like, What? What's going on? I was like, Huh?! But when I heard the news, I wanted to share my joy with my mother right away, so I called her straight away."
The official "Traful" website also released a vertical video of Tachibana attempting tongue twisters and facial expression challenges.
Tachibana-san is 23 years old and was born on May 25, 2002 in Kitakyushu City. She is in charge of the color red in "CANDY TUNE". The dance in the group's song "Double Bai Fight!" where she swings her arms became a hot topic because it resembled the way noodles are drained, and she is also known by the nickname "Yukiri Neki".
