"My Hero Academia: You're Next" will be available for unlimited streaming starting August 2nd

It has been announced that the movie version of the anime " My Hero Academia " based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), " My Hero Academia: You're Next" (directed by Tensai Okamura), will be available for unlimited streaming on Hulu, Prime Video and other video streaming services from August 2. The fourth movie in the series, released in August 2024, grossed approximately 3.6 billion yen and attracted an audience of approximately 2.47 million people, making it the biggest hit in the series.

Original author Horikoshi supervised the production and was in charge of character design. The original story follows the same timeline as the seventh season of the anime series, and a major, world-shaking incident occurs just before the final battle between heroes Deku (Izuku Midoriya ) and their enemies, the villains. Kenta Miyake, who plays the hero All Might All Might , also plays the role of Dark Might, the enemy villain who looks just like All Might. The appearance of guest voice actors Meru Nukumi Ikumi and Mamoru Miyano also attracted attention.

"My Hero Academia" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from July 2014 to August 2024. Set in a world where about 80% of the population has supernatural powers and quirks, the story follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The comics have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2016, the second from March to September 2017, the third from April to September 2018, the fourth from October 2019 to April 2020, the fifth from March to September 2021, the sixth from October 2022 to March 2023, and the seventh from May to October 2024. The eighth and final season, "FINAL SEASON," will be broadcast on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV every Saturday at 5:30 pm starting from October 4th.
