A new series by Shuichi Shigeno , known for manga such as " Initial D" and "MF Ghost ", called " Subaru and Subaru", started in the 34th issue of the manga magazine "Young Magazine" (Kodansha), released on July 22nd. This is the "fastest return" since "MF Ghost", which ended its serialization in February.
The new series is a manga following "Initial D" and its "successor" "MF Ghost". The year after Takumi Fujiwara's student Kanata Rivington swept the MFG road race, Subaru Sato from Gunma and Suisei Kudo from Kanagawa are fired up to take on the challenge. The worlds of "Initial D" and "MF Ghost" overlap to depict the "true legend of the fastest car on the road" by the two "Subarus".
To commemorate the start of the new series, the magazine's website, Young Magazine Web, will be offering 100 episodes of "MF Ghost" for free.
