"Anpan" Episode 78's disturbing ending leaves viewers worried

The 78th episode of the NHK morning drama " Anpan " starring Mio Imada(General Asadora , Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others) was broadcast on July 16th, and viewers expressed concern over the disturbing final scene.

In episode 78, Hatako ( Noriko Eguchi) and Kura (Miyoko Asada) get their hands on the August issue of "Monthly Kujira" and realize that the cover illustration by Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) is of Nobu (Imada).

Kamaji (played by Kotaro Yoshida) says he has already read Nobu's article three times. When asked if he has read Kurakata Takashi's four-panel comic strip "Miss Kochi," he laughs, saying, "Takashi is outrageous. He's using my precious grandchild as a model without my permission," but then begins coughing violently.

Towards the end of the episode, Ranko (Nanoka Hara) comes to visit Nobu and Meiko (Yuumi Kawai) late at night. Ranko says, "I want you to come to my house," and with a serious expression, mutters, "Grandpa Kama..." The 78th episode ended with Nobu and Meiko at a loss for words.

On social media, people were saying things like, "Oh no... Kamajii is in critical condition," "This is an ominous sign," "With this trend going like this, I'm really worried about tomorrow...," "I guess it's finally time to say goodbye? I'm sad," and "I hope Yam, who appeared in the preview, makes it in time for Kamajii's final moments."
