The number of views of the first episode of the drama "The Kidnapping Day" starring Takumi Saito exceeded 1.06 million in three days.

The number of views of the first episode of the TV drama series "The Kidnapping Day" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm), starring actor Saito Takumi, which began airing on July 8th, exceeded 1.06 million in three days, making it the number one episode of TVer's overall ranking.

This human mystery is based on the popular Korean drama of the same name (2023). The protagonist, Masamune Shinjo (Saito), kidnaps the hospital director's daughter, Rin Nanase (Yumi Adachi ), to pay for their seriously ill daughter's surgery. However, Rin has lost her memory, and Rin's parents, the hospital director and his wife, have been murdered by someone. Masamune and Rin go on the run, battling unidentified men who attack them and being pursued by the police.

Snow Man's Tatsuya Fukazawa, Yuki Uchida, and Yosuke Eguchi will also appear. Episode 2 will air on July 15th.
