A new visual and official trailer for "Part 1: Seishun Kyousoukyoku," a theatrical compilation of Toei Animation's original anime "Girls Band Cry," has been released. The visual depicts each of the five members of the band "Togenashi Togeari" in the film, expressing their unstable state before they become "one."
The third round of advance movie tickets, which will come with a bonus acrylic stand featuring the new visuals, will be on sale exclusively on online shopping sites from July 18th.
"Girls Band Cry" depicts the protagonist, Isekiri Nina, who dropped out of high school and moved to Tokyo, forming the band "Togenashi Togeari" with Kawaraki Momoka, Yasuwa Subaru, Ebitsuka Satoshi, and Rupa, and growing through music. It is attracting attention as a new girls' band anime in which the band formed by the protagonists in the story is linked to a real band. The TV anime aired from April to June 2024. The first volume of the Blu-ray disc and DVD has been gaining popularity, with cumulative shipments exceeding 23,000 copies.
The movie compilation will reconstruct the TV anime and add new scenes. The first part, "Seishun Rhapsody," will be released on October 3rd, and the second part, "Hey, Future," will be released on November 14th.
