The 65th episode of the NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and other channels), starring Mio Imada , was broadcast on June 27th, and viewers responded to the interaction between Nobu (Imada), who has been hired as a reporter for the Kochi Shimpo newspaper, and her family.
In the 65th episode, Nobu comes to Kochi Shimpo relying on the business card of Tokairin ( Kenjiro Tsuda) that was given to him at the black market. However, Tokairin seems to have no memory of it at all. As Nobu is about to give up and go home, Tokairin suggests that she take the company entrance exam.
A few days later, after the written and practical exams, Nobu is interviewed. He is told that he was once featured in an article as a model of patriotism, and is questioned about whether his views have changed. Nobu denies that he was marked as a militarist by the occupying forces, and honestly explains why he quit his job as a teacher.
Seeing the stern looks on her face from the interviewers, Nobu slumps and leaves the room. The interviewers try to reject her, but Tokairin sternly says, "You could say she's representative of women today," and "I'll take responsibility." Tokairin chases after Nobu and tells her, "We're short-staffed at the editorial department and we'd be glad to get any help we can get. We're going to hire you."
Nobu reports to her family that she has been hired as a reporter for the Kochi Shimpo. Meiko (Nanoka Hara) congratulates her, Kamaji (Kotaro Yoshida Kotaro) praises her, saying, "You've done well," and Kura (Miyoko Asada) and Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) are also overjoyed. However, Ranko seems calm and says with a worried look, "No... my sister... is a reporter? I wonder if she'll be okay."
Meiko agreed, saying, "You're right... it seems like something unnecessary would happen." Hatako started to say, "It's okay!" but then asked Nobu anxiously, "Are you alright...?" Ranko immediately said, "I'm sure you're not okay," to which Nobu replied, "No way!" Meiko settled the situation by saying, "It'll work out somehow," and Ranko congratulated Nobu with a smile, saying, "Congratulations."
On social media, comments included, "As expected of Ranko! I was already predicting she'd make a mistake lol," "What an incredible thing to say lol," "That was such an accurate observation lol," "Ranko's one comment was so typical of the Asada family that it made me laugh for the first time in a while!", "What a funny family," and "What a great family."
