American actor Brad Pitt appeared at a Japan stage greeting for his starring movie "F1" (directed by Joseph Kosinski, released June 27th) held at Marunouchi Piccadilly (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on June 25th. This was Pitt's first visit to Japan in three years since promoting "Bullet Train" (released in 2022). It was a "high-speed visit" about 24 hours after the announcement.
This film reunites the production team behind "Top Gun: Maverick," starring Tom Cruise. Pitt plays the legendary charismatic F1 driver who returns to the sport and leads the weakest F1 team with an "unconventional strategy." The full cooperation of the F1 side has also been a hot topic, and the powerful and realistic racing scenes are a major highlight.
Pitt appeared wearing a yellow happi coat over a beige suit. His hair was cut short. After receiving the applause of the audience at the venue, he smiled and said, "It's unprecedented for us to race on a real circuit during an actual F1 season.
