Tokuyama Hidenori & Sugimoto Yumi "Sutou Siblings" to appear in "Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Formation Lap Shimatsuya of the Galaxy"

It has been revealed that actors Tokuyama Hidenori and Sugimoto Yumi will be appearing in "Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Formation Lap: Killers of the Galaxy," which will be released this summer on the app service "TTFC (Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club)."

This work is a spin-off of "Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger" which ended in February, and will bring together additional warriors from the Super Sentai series. Tokuyama and Sugimoto appeared in "Engine Sentai Go-onger" which aired from 2008 to 2009, and in this work they will once again play the brother and sister warriors Go-on Gold/Sutou Taito and Go-on Silver/Sutou Miu.

Tokuyama commented with joy, "I was honestly happy when I was asked to play Go-On Gold. What's more, I felt even happier because I was appearing as Go-On Wings, as siblings with Miu." Looking back on the filming, he said, "Watanabe Jun, who was my suit actor at the time, is now an action director, but I was really happy that he played my Gold. Furthermore, Nogawa (Mizuho) also played Silver at the time, and it was a set filled with love."

Sugimoto also expressed his delight, saying, "Even after 17 years, the Go-On members are still good friends in private. Ani (Tokuyama) and I had always talked about how it would be great if the two of us from Wings could appear in a production together. This time, my wish has come true. And it's a real honour to be able to work with (suit actor) Nogawa Mizuho again."
