It has been revealed that the new theatrical version of the anime " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba the Movie: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Castle Infinity Castle Arc ," based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge , will collaborate with mail order retailer Japanet Takata. The special program "Japanet Kimetsu" will be broadcast on TOKYO MX from 9:30 pm on June 29th, and the merchandise that will be on sale at the theater from July 18th will be unveiled for the first time.
This unusual collaboration was realized as a result of an offer from the anime side, with Japanet Takata introducing products that the company does not handle. The special program will be recorded at Japanet Takata's headquarters studio in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, and will be hosted by Japanet Takata employees Kazunari Nakajima and Yuka Sato, just like the regular broadcasts. Mini Corps member Tanjiro Kamado will also make a guest appearance. During the broadcast, the theme song for Japanet Takata will be performed by Natsuki Hanae , the voice actor for Tanjiro Kamado .
The story of " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is about Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joining the Demon Slaying Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a demon, back into a human. The original was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 150 million.
