"PJ ~Air Rescue Team~" viewers angry at rude young people

The final episode of the TV drama series "PJ: Air Rescue Team" (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm), starring actor Seiyo Uchino, aired on June 19th, and one particular scene caused an outrage among viewers.

In the final episode, Yuuna (Yoshikawa Ai), who is finishing up her graduation thesis on rescuers (PJ), is leaving Komaki Air Base, and the students are having a farewell party. While they are having a good time at an izakaya, a drunk young man and woman at a nearby table come up to them and say, "Are you from the Self-Defense Forces? I thought so! You're clearly showing your hao haki."

The young people ask Nishitani Randy (Kusama Richard Keita) rude questions such as "Do foreigners join the Self-Defense Forces?" and laugh, saying "Good luck, but please don't start a war!"

In response, the students bowed their heads and said, "Thank you!", but Yuuna was the only one who expressed anger, and raised her voice, saying, "If I were the PJ, I would 100% abandon you if a disaster occurred! But these people are different! They will definitely save you. To achieve that, they are pushing their bodies and minds to their limits, and doing some crazy training!"
