A special issue featuring professional figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, "Figure Skating Life Extra: Yuzuru Hanyu PROFESSIONAL Season 3" (Fusosha), will be released on July 31st. Recently, two cover images have been released. One shows him wearing cool glasses, edgy long earrings and a ring, and looking elegant in the latest fashions, while the other shows him sporting a soft expression in a white outfit.
The book features an exclusive interview looking back on his third year as a professional, as well as new photos taken by photographer Toru Yaguchi. There are two types of covers, a regular version and a limited edition, and two double-sided posters (A3 size) are included. A4 size, 112 pages. Price: 3,300 yen.
In the interview, he talks about various experiences that have happened to him over the past year, including stories from the production of the solo tour ICE STORY 3rd "Echoes of Life," for which he served as executive producer, and the collaboration with singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu on the music video for "BOW AND ARROW," which came true after he was approached by him.
Additionally, a panel exhibition to commemorate the release of the magazine will be held at Yurindo Atre Ebisu store (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) from July 31st to August 31st, and at the window below BIGMAN at Kinokuniya Umeda Main Store (Kita Ward, Osaka Prefecture) from July 31st to August 13th. Purchasers will receive a postcard of additional cuts as a special bonus. Reservations will be accepted from June 18th. The bonus will end once all stock has been depleted.
