It has been announced that the TV anime " The Water Magician ", based on the light novel by Tadashi Hisaho, who is popular on the novel posting site " Shosetsuka ni Naro ", will be broadcast on TBS at 1:28 am every Thursday from July 3rd. On BS11, it will be broadcast every Friday at 11 am from July 4th.
Additional cast members have also been announced, including Muro Genki as Nils, Miyase Naoya as Eto, Kohei Amasaki as Amon, Ishihara Kaori as Rihya, Matsumoto Sara as Rin, Miku Ito as Nina, Takehito Koyasu as Mikael (pseudonym), and Otsuka Yoshitada as Lewin.
It was also announced that the band Honorable Legend will perform the opening theme "Blue Motion" and Misaki will perform the ending theme "Tayuta Uma ni."
The work is a light novel written by Hisataka and illustrated by Amano Hide. The story is about a young man named Ryo who is reincarnated into another world, and after a sword fight with a headless knight, an attack by Assassin Hawk, and an encounter with a dragon, he becomes the strongest water wizard 20 years later. Eventually, his encounter with the genius swordsman Abel brings Ryo to the forefront of history. The light novel is published by TO Books, and the comic adaptation is also gaining popularity. The series has sold over 700,000 copies in total.
