It has been announced that the TV anime "Bad Girl," based on Nikumaru's four-frame manga currently being serialized in "Manga Time Kirara Carat" (Houbunsha), will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations starting at 1:00 a.m. on July 5th. As a "naughty" initiative for TV anime, it was also announced that the series will be streamed on all streaming sites starting at midnight on the same day, prior to its terrestrial broadcast.
Additional cast members were also announced, including Yui Horie, who will be playing the role of kindergartener Maria Komari. Horie said, "I played a kindergarten girl named Maria. She has very strong opinions about Atori-sama, and I was asked to act without being too conscious of the fact that she is a kindergartener! I would be happy if everyone would support the cute and reliable Maria!"
It was also announced that the opening theme (OP) will be performed by the unit "Tenrougun," consisting of voice actors Azusa Tachibana, Nina Hanamiya, Misato Matsuoka, and Miharu Hanai, who appear in the series. The title of the song is "Super Big Love!", and it was unveiled in a PV released on YouTube.
The series is a school comedy about Yu Yutani, a first-year student at Fujigasaki Private High School, known for being an honor student, who meets Mizutori Atori, the school's Madonna and disciplinary committee chairman, and his school life changes completely. In order to attract the attention of Atori, who he worships as a god, Yu gives up being a good kid and strives to become a delinquent. The anime will be directed by Furuta Takeshi, known for "Shaman King Flowers" and "Revival of The Seven Deadly Sins Sins: Revival of the Commandments," and produced by Bridge.
