The 44th episode of the NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and others), starring Mio Imada , was broadcast on May 29th, and Asadora fans responded to the song hummed by "Yam-onchan" Kusakichi (played by Sadao Abe ).
In the 44th episode, Asada Bakery receives an order for hardtack to be delivered to the military. Kamaji ( Kotaro Yoshida) and his men are excited about the honorable task. Nobu (Imada) immediately asks Kusakichi to bake the hardtack, but he refuses... and so the story unfolds.
Nobu calls out to Kusakichi, who has just returned from the bath, to ask him to make some hardtack. Kusakichi seems to be in a good mood, humming the song "Badojizudejidoda~", but suddenly Nobu opens the sliding door and says "Welcome home!", and Kusakichi is surprised, saying "I'm shocked! Don't scare me." When Nobu asks Kusakichi to bake some hardtack, saying "The army has requested that our shop do this," Kusakichi firmly refuses, saying "No way. Please turn down the offer," and "I don't like things I don't like."
The song Kusakichi was humming in this scene was "Trapa to Musume" (The Trumpet and the Daughter), a song performed in the morning Asadora"Boogie Woogie" in the second half of 2023 by the heroine Fukurai Suzuko (Shuri), who is modeled after the singer Kasagi Shizuko (1914-1985).
