The final 16th volume of the popular manga "Wataten! An Angel Flew Down to Me!" by Nanatsu Mukugi, which was serialized in "Comic Yurihime" (Ichijinsha), will be released on May 29th. To commemorate the completion, a promotional video featuring newly recorded voices by Reina Ueda, who played Miyako Hoshino in the anime, and Maria Maria Sashide Shirasaki, was released on YouTube and other platforms.

Advertisements commemorating the series' completion are on display at Tokyo Metro Shinjuku Station and JR Akihabara Station.
The final 16th volume of the comic will be released in a regular edition and a special edition with a booklet. The booklet will include "Colorful Sugar Memories," which depicts the epilogue after the graduation ceremony.
The series began serialization in November 2016 when "Comic Yurihime" became a monthly magazine. The final episode aired in April this year, bringing the series to a close after about nine years of serialization. It depicts the story of Hoshino Miyako, an otaku and shy female college student, who meets an angelic girl, Shirasaki Hana, and tries to become friends with her somehow. The TV anime aired from January to March 2019, and the new anime "Wataten! Precious Friends" was released in theaters in 2022.
