It has been announced that " Call of the Night Call of the Night ", based on Kotoyama's popular manga, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's anime slot "Noitamina" every Friday at 11:30 pm starting July 4th. It has also been announced that voice actress Uchida Maaya will appear. Uchida will play Saegusa Haru, who appears in the "Cigarette Case Arc" of Season 2. The key visual for the "Cigarette Case Arc" has also been released, depicting Saegusa Haru and other characters whose secrets from the past will be revealed in Season 2.
Haru Saegusa is a nurse who looks just like Nazuna Saegusa, and there is a photo of her together with Kabura when they were both human, making her a woman connected to Kabura's past. Uchida said, "When I read the original work, I thought 'this is it...' and I was fired up. She was cool and wonderful, and I was fascinated by her, so I will do my best to portray her charm!"
" Call of the Night" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) from August 2019 to January 2024. The story is about Kou Yamori, a second-year middle school student who suffers from insomnia, who meets the beautiful vampire Nazuna Saegusa and becomes fascinated by her, who teaches him the joys of the night.
The first season of the TV anime aired on Noitamina from July to September 2022.
