It has been announced that the latest installment in the popular anime series "Gundam", "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", will be participating in Anime Expo 2025, the largest anime event in the US, which will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 3rd to 6th. A panel event on July 3rd will feature talk shows with director Kazuya Tsurumaki and voice actor Tomoyo Kurosawa, who plays the main character Amate Yuzuriha (Machu). The event will be streamed live on Gundam's official YouTube channel "Gundam Channel" and elsewhere.
It was also announced that the series will participate in Japan Expo 2025, France's largest Japanese culture event, which will be held at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre from July 3rd to 6th. At a panel event on July 6th, Tsurumaki, series composition and scriptwriter Enokido Yoji, and design works and storyboard artist Maeda Masahiro will take to the stage to talk about the production process and the world of Gundam. At the panel events in the US and France, there will be a special screening of the theatrical advance version of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is also a hot topic as it is the first collaboration between Sunrise, which produces the Gundam series, and khara, known for the Evangelion series. Ahead of the TV anime series, a pre-release movie version with some episodes reconstructed began screening on January 17th. The TV anime series is currently being broadcast on 30 Nippon TV affiliates every Tuesday at 12:29am.
