Actor Asuka Saito recently attended the preview screening of the movie "My Father and I's Never-ending Song" (directed by Norihiro Koizumi, to be released on May 23rd) held in Tokyo. She wore a layered outfit of a long jacket and a red hoodie, and her slender, beautiful legs were visible from the hem of her pleated skirt.
Her long hair was tied in a high twisted ponytail, and the pink shirt and pearl-like necklace added a girly touch to her outfit.
The film is based on a true story that began with a video posted on YouTube in the UK in 2016. The video depicts the bond between a father and son suffering from Alzheimer's disease, and has touched people all over the world.
The setting of this film has been changed to Japan, and it features father Mamiya Tetsuta (Akira Terao) and son Yuta (Tori Matsuzaka), who run a musical instrument store in Yokosuka. The film depicts the touching story of how, with the support of their families and friends, the father, who has Alzheimer's disease, tries to achieve his dream of making his record debut, a dream he gave up in his youth, once again, as he tries to make his record debut. Saito plays the role of Umino Yuri, an employee of a record company who comes across Tetsuta's video on social media and invites him to make his record debut.
Terao, Matsuzaka, Sato Shiori, and Matsuzaka Keiko were also in attendance at the premiere screening.
