Singer Ano-san, also known as "Ano-chan," will appear on the new episode of NHK's popular comedy program "LIFE! Spring" (General) on May 2nd at 10pm, where she will attempt her first full-scale comedy sketch. "It was my first time recording a full-scale sketch, so it was a lot of fun! I've been watching this comedy sketch program since I was a student, so I was happy to be able to appear with Uchimura (Mitsuyoshi)!" she commented.
"LIFE!" aired a special program on BS Premium in 2012, and series 1 began on NHK General TV in 2013. So far, it has produced popular characters such as the Squid King, Mitsuya Kanji, Alien Prime Minister, Usotaro, Omoemon, Katz Eye, Yokai Doshitarōka-chan, Guessnic Magazine Saijō, and Plus Conductor.
The show will be renewed in spring 2021, marking the ninth year since it began as a series. It will be broadcast seasonally, in spring, summer, fall, and winter, with a different cast each time.
This was Ano's first appearance on "LIFE!" and it was also announced that the program on that day would be an extended 72-minute version, with Ikuta Erika, Kawanishi Kenshiro, Goto Junpei, Sakurada Hiyori, Jiro, Tanaka Naoki, Tsukaji Muga, Koshi Mizukami Koji also appearing.
