The first episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Caster " (Sunday 9:00 pm) starring Hiroshi Abe was broadcast on April 13th. Mei Nagano , who plays Hana Sakikubo, the general director of the news program "Newsgate", became a hot topic on social media.

Suspicions arose that the emergency surgery of Chief Cabinet Secretary Takeshi Hanyu (Kinya Kitaoji), who has a rare blood type, had failed to operate on a boy with the same blood type and an incurable disease. The program was going to cover this, but Shindo (Abe) changed the content just before it aired.
After the program aired, Sakikubo questioned Shindo about why he had changed the video. However, Shindo revealed that he had heard from the surgeon that they had tried to save both of them equally, but in the end Hanyu was saved and the boy died.
