The second episode of the drama series " Taigan no Kaji ~Kore ga, Watashi no Ikiru Michi~ " (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actress Mikako Tabe , was broadcast on April 8th. On social media, people commented that Tabe is "cute" as she plays Murakami Shiho, a full-time housewife who struggles with childcare and housework.

Tatsuya Nakatani (Dean Fujioka), a bureaucrat at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare who is taking two years of parental leave, points out to Shiho, "I'm surprised your husband agreed to let you become a full-time housewife." In the current situation where the lifetime employment system has collapsed, Nakatani believes that couples should choose to work together as a risk hedge, and he also makes a condescending remark, "I think your husband is putting up with a lot."

After an irritated Shiho screamed in her head, she saw the "Murakami Shiho Friends Election Poster Display." There, Nakatani's posters were displayed all over the place. She then heard a female announcer's voice saying, "This is Nakatani Tatsuya, the official candidate for the Murakami Shiho Friends Election," and "Nakatani Tatsuya has come to greet you." Shiho saw this vision and was shown to hang her head in despair, saying, "I have no choice."

There was also a scene where Nakatani was strict with her daughter Karen (Mio Igarashi) who had fallen down and was crying. Shiho's daughter Ichigo (Hana Nagai), who happened to be there, spread her arms and puffed out her cheeks as she angrily told Nakatani, "No!"

The original work is the novel "Taigan no Kaji" (Kodansha Bunko) by Akeno Kayoko. The drama depicts the "endless work" of housework through interactions with "people on the other side" who have different positions and ways of thinking than the protagonist. This will be Tabe's second time starring in the same time slot, five years after "My Housekeeper Nagisa-san" (2020).
