NHK's Asadora drama series "Omusubi " starring Kanna Hashimoto (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 am and others). On March 29th, we will look back on the final week (25th week) of the series, " Omusubi, Connecting Minna" (March 24th to 28th). The NHK announcer Kozo Takase will be in charge of the narration.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist, with the "gal spirit" of valuing one's individuality at all times.
In the 25th week, Aiko (Kumiko Aso) and Masato (Kumiko Aso) decide to move to Itoshima, and Shoya (Hayato Sano), who has now become a full-fledged adult, takes over the barber shop in Kobe.
At that time, Yui (Hashimoto) and the other members of the NST ask the doctor to postpone the operation of a cancer patient who is scheduled for surgery next week because he cannot eat any food, but the doctor opposes the postponement, saying that he can replenish his food through an IV drip. Furthermore, at the request of the hospital's upper management, the NST's activities are temporarily suspended to deal with the shortage of personnel due to the effects of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Tahara Uta (Oshima Miyu), who has been discharged from the hospital, comes to Ayumu and asks to stay with her for a while. Yui worries about Uta's future, but Ayumu makes a big decision while letting Uta work at his apparel store.
One year after Ayumu, encouraged by Yui's words that "we can all raise her together," took in Uta, Yui and her friends visited the saints who had moved to Itoshima, and went to the place where Yui and Shoya first met. And then, on the morning of January 17, 2025, the television was showing the Asadora... and so it unfolded.
