It has been announced that Jun Fukuyama and Saori Hayami will be appearing as voice actors in the TV anime "See you tomorrow at the food court," which is based on the manga by Shinichiro Nariie. The original manga has been a hot topic on social media as a manga about "high school girls just talking." Fukuyama will play Duke Abel, a character in a social game played by one of the main characters, Wada, and Hayami will play Saito, Wada's classmate.
Fukuyama commented, "Two girls in a food court. How will Duke Abel's voice resonate during their time together when no one can disturb them?! It's an anime, but it's like a game, lol. I hope that it adds to the fun of the game in the way that it can. Look forward to it!"
Hayami said, "I had let my imagination run wild based on the descriptions in the original work, the images from the script...and other things like that, but when I actually did the dubbing, I felt like my horizons had been opened to the world, and I realized, 'So this is what Saito is like...!' I approached the role with the feeling that I was just casually taking part in the wonderful atmosphere created by Wada-san and Yamamoto-san. I hope you enjoy it."
An event for the series will be held on March 23rd at the KADOKAWA LIVE STATION in the KADOKAWA booth at AnimeJapan 2025, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo). Hiyori Miyazaki , who plays Wada, Aoyama Yoshino, who plays Yamamoto, and Fukuyama will be on stage.
The series is currently being serialized on the manga distribution site "Comic Newtype" (KADOKAWA). At first glance, Wada, an honor student and a sheltered young lady who gives off an aura of being difficult to talk to, and Yamamoto, with her blonde hair, tanned skin, and gyaru appearance that makes people around her fear her, meet almost every day at the food court and talk about trivial things...
The anime will be directed by Kazuomi Koga , known for " Rent-A-Girlfriend ," and the series will be composed by Jukki Hanada. It will be produced by Atelier Pontdarc. It will be broadcast in 2025.
