The 102nd episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " starring Kanna Hashimoto was broadcast on February 25th, and viewers expressed concern about the extremely frail character Nagayoshi (Matsudaira Ken).
In episode 102, Eikichi comes to Kobe from Itoshima, gets into a fight with Masato (Kitamura Yukiya), and ends up staying at Yui's (Hashimoto) apartment with Kayo (Miyazaki Yoshiko). Eikichi drinks with Yui for the first time in a while, but gets drunk after just one can of beer and falls asleep. Kayo says, "It's always the same these days. I've become really tolerant of alcohol."
Meanwhile, Masato was distracted at work, worried about how Nagayoshi had fallen after a light push during the fight. When Aiko (Kumiko Aso) and Shoya ( Hayato Sano) expressed their concern, Masato sighed and said, "Up until now, my dad hadn't even flinched even when we'd fought, but now he's been knocked out by a little push... I feel a bit strange now that I'll never be able to fight like we used to again."
Furthermore, Eikichi was so exhausted after going for a walk with his great-granddaughter Hana (Risa Miyazaki) that he ended up resting in his room. Yui told Kayo, "I felt that my grandfather was small just now. When we were in Itoshima, I thought he was a big man like a thunder mountain, but just now he felt a little small."
With Nagayoshi looking completely weakened, people on social media expressed concern, saying things like, "Nagayoshi's deterioration due to aging is becoming more and more evident...", "He looks so frail, like he might die tomorrow", "The hints are all being raised", "I can't believe he's wearing what looks like mourning clothes in the preview...", and "I'm worried about Nagayoshi's health...I hope that's not the case."
