On February 25th, new photos of Hina Kawabata , a 6th generation member who will be a new member of the idol group Nogizaka46 , along with her own handwritten profile, were released.
Kawabata was born on January 14, 2011, and is 14 years old, making her the youngest of the 6th generation members. She hails from Tokyo. "I'm very happy to be able to join Nogizaka46, which I've admired since I was 5 years old. I will treasure the Nogizaka46 that my predecessors have built, work hard on each and every one of them, and do my best with my life so that I can receive support from many (many) people," she wrote.
On the same day, photos and handwritten profiles of Moeka Yada and Mitsuki Setoguchi were also released. On the 26th, photos and handwritten profiles of Akari Kaibe and Rio Nagashima will be released.
The 6th generation members were selected through auditions held twice, in spring and summer last year, and a total of 11 people joined. On April 6th, the debut event "Nogizaka46 First Debut 'Nice to meet you, 6th generation members'" will be held at Pia Arena MM (Nishi-ku, Yokohama).
