The sixth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (Sunday 9pm), starring actor Tori Matsuzaka , was broadcast on February 23rd, recording an average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) of 9.1% for households and 5.6% for individuals.
The drama is an original "great reversal story of education revival" in which Takashi Mikami (played by Matsuzaka), a bureaucrat in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, who wants to change the Japanese education system, takes to the podium at a private high school and stands up to authority while guiding 18-year-old high school students living in the Reiwa era.
In episode 6, an article appears in a weekly magazine and the students learn about Mikami's older brother, Kota (played by Niihara Taisuke). Mikami (played by Matsuzaka) refuses to answer the students' questions, saying, "It was a long time ago," but with the encouragement of a certain person who knows Mikami's past, he finally opens up... and so the story unfolds.
