The fifth episode of the TBS drama series "I'll Take You to the End of Hell" (Tuesdays at 11:56 p.m., except in some regions), starring the talent Nozomi Sasaki, was broadcast on February 11th. In the episode, there is a scene in which Makoto (Yuki Inoue) talks about his feelings for Reina after being shown a video of her (Nagisa Shibuya) committing a crime by Sachiko (Sasaki), which caused a stir on social media.

In episode 5, Sachiko is shaken by Makoto's words, who protects his wife even after watching the video of Reina's murder. After Makoto tells her to stop babysitting, Sachiko ambushes Makoto in order to regain his trust, creating an opportunity for the two of them to talk alone.
Sachiko, who avoided being fired, closes the distance between her and Makoto under the pretext of preparing a surprise party for Reina. She skillfully invites Makoto to go shopping with her, and they arrange to meet at a flower shop on the store's closed day, but Reina arrives there with her child... and so the story unfolds.
Makoto, who told Sachiko to stop being a babysitter, said of Reina, "The truth is, she's a very sensitive person and easily hurt," and further defended her for her violent acts, such as putting a goldfish in a blender, saying, "I interpret this as her being a result of her overreacting to stress from work and relationships."
He continues, "People may point fingers at me, but I married her, prepared to face her to the end," expressing his feelings for Reina. On the way home, Sachiko is confronted by her mysterious accomplice Komi, who asks her why she cares so much about Reina. She mutters, "The reason we're together even though I know Reina's true nature..."
On social media, many people were drawn to Makoto, who refuses to break up with Reina despite knowing her true nature, with comments such as, "Is Makoto the mastermind behind this?", "I wonder how much he knows about Reina's dark side", "Is Makoto actually planning revenge himself?", "I feel like Makoto is up to something too", and "Is her husband being brainwashed or the mastermind behind it?"
