Bandai Spirits has announced new products such as Gunpla (plastic models) and figures for the advance theatrical version of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, the latest installment in the popular Gundam anime series (the following contains spoilers).
A Gunpla model of the Red Gundam (gMS-α), which suddenly appears in Side 6 in the Universal Century year 0085 and takes part in a clan battle, will be released in May as the "HG 1/144 Red Gundam" from the "HG" series. It reproduces the distinctive coloring of the head and torso. The price is 2,750 yen. It has also been revealed that a figure of the Red Gundam will be released in June as the "METAL ROBOT Spirits <SIDE MS> Red Gundam" from the "METAL ROBOT Spirits" series. The price is 24,200 yen.
The Earth Federation Forces' new MS (Mobile Suit) White Gundam (RX-78-02) figure "METAL ROBOT Spirits <SIDE MS> White Gundam" will also be shipped in September. The price is 19,800 yen.
Plastic models of Amate Yuzuriha (Machu) and Nyaan were also announced. "Figure-rise Standard Amate Yuzuriha (Machu)" will be released in June, and "Figure-rise Standard Nyaan" will be released in July. Each will cost 4,180 yen.
