A new visual has been released for the TV anime " The Blue Wolves of Mibu ," based on a manga about the Shinsengumi by Tsuyoshi Yasuda , who is known for the soccer manga "DAYS," which depicts an all-out confrontation between Miblo and the Bloody Liberal Corps from the 17th episode airing on February 8th. The visual depicts the scene just before the clash between the Bloody Liberal Corps, who wish for a world of war and want to set fire to the city of Kyoto, and Miblo, who wish for a world of peace and want to protect the city of Kyoto.
It was also announced that additional cast members will include Kimura Ryohei, Nakajima Yoshiki, Shioya Tsubasa, Yamane Masashi, and Hirakawa Daisuke. As members of the Blood of the Willing, Kimura will play Yaksha, Nakajima will play the instigator, Shioya will play the hunting dog, and Yamane will play the fireworks maker. Hirakawa will play Anenokoji Kintomo, a 23-year-old nobleman who leads the anti-foreign faction that advocates the idea of overthrowing foreign countries.
Kimura commented, "I'm not the type to reveal my true feelings very much, but I've come to uphold his sense of justice. I'll add color to the story. I hope you'll support me."
Nakajima said, "Everyone has their own reasons for fighting and what they want from others. It may be shameless and vulgar to be so obsessed with gaining the praise of others and leaving your name in the world, but those feelings cannot be denied. With the arrival of the Risshidan, each with their own ambitions, Kyo and Mibro are further shaken. I will do my best with all my heart to ensure that the memories of the Risshidan and their incitement are etched in as many people as possible!"
Shioya commented, "Dear Mr. Shioya, thank you very much for giving me the role of Hound. I believe this is my first time playing the enemy of the Shinsengumi. I have been involved in animation for 53 years. I want to speak carefully and beautifully in correct common language for each character, but it is not easy. Just thinking back on the many embarrassing things that happened when I was in the studio, I now spend my days filled with regret and reflection, so I bow down and ask that you forget them. When it is completed, please give me a Blu-ray. Sincerely, Shioya Tsubasa."
Yamane said, "I have been an avid reader since the series first began, and I feel that the charm of this series is that there are so many scenes that you can empathize with, not just with the Shinsengumi. The Risshidan are no exception; they also have various backgrounds, justice and beliefs that they uphold, and they are determined to see them through. Just as I felt a lot from the Risshidan when I read the original work, I hope that I can deliver at least a little something to everyone who watches the anime!"
Hirakawa said, "I'm Hirakawa Daisuke, and I'll be playing the role of Anenokoji Kimitomo. He's not just 'Anekoji,' he's 'Anega Koji.' And he's a real person. In the work, he is a nobleman, so he gives off a feeling of being apart of this world, but at the same time, I felt that he was portrayed as a person with a sharp perspective. I enjoyed thinking about what characters he would interact with in the story, and how, and what kind of influence he would have, as I approached the recording."

The anime is directed by Kumiko Habara , known for " I'm Standing on a Million Lives ," and produced by MAHO FILM. It is currently being broadcast on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV every Saturday at 5:30 pm. It will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons.
