On January 30th, the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of the special effects drama "Kamen Rider Kuuga" (2000-2001), TOKYO MX will broadcast "Kamen Rider Kuuga Special Edition 25th Anniversary Broadcast Original Edit Version" from 8pm. The one-hour program is a re-edited and reconstructed version of "Kamen Rider Kuuga Special Edition" produced in 2001, and will be broadcast on terrestrial TV for the first time.
"Kamen Rider Kuuga" is the first of the Heisei Kamen Rider series starring Joe Odagiri. The mysterious group "Grongi", who slaughtered humanity long ago, is revived in the year 2000. The story follows adventurer Yusuke Godai (Odagiri), who becomes Kamen Rider Kuuga and fights to protect people from the Grongi after acquiring an ancient belt.
