The ninth episode, "Treasure," of the TV anime " The Blue Wolves of Mibu ," based on a manga about the Shinsengumi by Tsuyoshi Yasuda , who is known for the soccer manga "DAYS," will be broadcast on the Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV network at 5:30 pm on December 14th.
A drinking contest is held at Miburo, and Hijikata and Serizawa finally come to a one-on-one battle. During the contest, Serizawa says, "Don't be tied down to your hometown," which makes Nio ponder over why she loves the city of Kyoto so much. The next day, Nio and the others go to her grandmother's dumpling shop to make matching haori coats for the uniforms. By hearing her grandmother's feelings for her hometown, Nio realizes why she loves Kyoto, and her feelings become even stronger. It is here that she meets an important person in her life.
" The Blue Wolves of Mibu" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) since 2021. Set in Kyoto at the end of the Edo period, it depicts the life of the Shinsengumi . The anime will be directed by Kumiko Habara , who has worked on " I'm Standing on a Million Lives ," and produced by MAHO FILM.
