The eighth episode of the TV drama series "Wingman" (TV Tokyo and others, Tuesday midnight 12:30), starring actor Makino Fujioka, was broadcast on December 10th. The episode featured a scene in which the relationship between Kenta Hirono, a high school student obsessed with special effects heroes (played by Fujioka), and Aoi (played by Konatsu Kato) suddenly became closer, which caused a stir on social media.

In episode 8, Aoi has mixed feelings when she sees Kenta injured in a battle with a strong enemy. She decides to return to her hometown with her fiancee Naas and leaves without saying goodbye to Kenta.
Kenta desperately searches for Aoi and pours out his feelings to her. Noticing Aoi's wavering feelings, Naas reveals his true nature and reveals that his goal is to steal the Dream Note. Kenta is enraged by Aoi's cowardly tactics and transforms into "Wingman" to defeat Naas... and so the story unfolds.
In the episode, after defeating Naas, Kenta and Aoi look at each other in silence and embrace each other. Later, when Aoi returns to Kenta's house and is brushing her teeth, Kenta comes in. To hide the awkward atmosphere, Kenta speaks enthusiastically, "There's a hero who's worried about the distance between us..." Aoi touches Kenta's hand and smiles, saying, "I know." Then, just as Kenta and Aoi get close to each other and are about to close their eyes and kiss, their mother, Stepson (Nakayama Shinobu), comes running up the stairs, shouting, "Kenta!", and the two of them hurriedly separate.
On social media, the scene where Kenta and Aoi are about to kiss has been met with a flood of excited comments such as "The development is so hot," "It was so innocent and heart-pounding," "I was surprised!" and "It's heartwarming." On the other hand, as Kenta and Miku (Kikuchi Himena) were also in love with each other, there were also comments such as "What's going to happen to Miku?" and "I'm starting to feel sorry for Miku."
