Comedian Kanning Takeyama will be appearing on the talk variety show "Downtown DX" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV) which will air from 10:00 p.m. on December 12th.
Takeyama said, "I spend a lot of money on travel, but I never buy souvenirs! They're a waste." He continued, "I've been running the 'All Japan Souvenir Anti-Alliance' on my own. Think carefully, everyone! Have you ever received a souvenir that made you truly happy from the bottom of your heart?"
He further emphasizes, "Souvenirs are just given out of self-satisfaction, and the recipient isn't really happy about it; it's just a way of forcing memories on others!"
In response, musician Kiyoharu began by saying, "I travel to many places on my national tours, but I'm a big shopper." He continued, "If someone brought me a souvenir, I'd be happy knowing that they remembered me during their trip," and the studio became excited.
On this day, Akiko Wada, Kodai Asaka, Ami Kikuchi, Yuki Matsumaru, Magical Lovely, Miyazon, and Riko will also be appearing.
