Mamoru Miyano:Appears in an all-white suit as a detective who is a descendant of a wealthy family in the anime "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de (The Dinner Table Detective)"

Fujiani 2025, an event to announce the latest information on Fuji TV's anime, was held in Tokyo on December 9th, where voice actors Kana Hanazawa, Yuki Kaji, and Mamoru Miyano appeared in the TV anime "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de (The Dinner Table Detective)". Miyano, who plays Kazamatsuri Kyoichiro, the heir to Kazamatsuri Motors and a detective in the series, appeared on stage in his trademark pure white suit. Hanazawa and Kaji commented, "It's as if we were born to play this role."

At the event, it was announced that Fuji TV's anime block "Noitamina" will move to the 11pm time slot nationwide starting in April 2025, and that "After Dinner Mysteries" will be broadcast as the first series in the new Noitamina block.

Hanawa, who plays Hosho Reiko, a detective at Tokyo's Kunitachi Police Station and the daughter of the world-famous Hosho Group, commented, "I was a reader of the original work and enjoyed it, so I was happy (when I was chosen to appear). At the audition stage, the lines were delivered in an intense manner and the excitement was high, so I thought, 'This might be the role I can meet.'"

Kaji, who plays Kageyama, Reiko's butler and driver, who has sharp reasoning skills and a sharp tongue, said, "The character of a sharp-tongued butler is a unique setting," and added, "Because he is a mysterious character, it was difficult to interpret him in my own mind while recording, but it was fun." Miyano said, "Career preparation? It wasn't necessary," drawing laughter.

"Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de" is set in Kunitachi, Tokyo, and is a full-scale mystery story of "butler detective x young lady detective" in which Hosho Reiko, a rookie detective at Kunitachi Police Station but the daughter of the world-famous Hosho Group, encounters a case that is solved by Kageyama, Reiko's butler and driver, who has a sharp deductive ability and sharp tongue. A drama series starring Sakurai Sho and Kitagawa Keiko was broadcast on Fuji TV from October to December 2011, and a movie was released in 2013. It has been adapted into a comic book, a stage play, and other media mix. The series has sold over 4.95 million copies in total.
