To commemorate the release of the latest 20th volume of the baseball manga "Oblivion Battery" by Eiko Mikawa, which is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump +", on December 4th, a special website entitled "Super Hyper Love & Peace Youth ☆ Memorial Party ~It's Unthinkable Not to Have a Party!!~" has been opened.
The special site features content based on the concept of "what if the five main members of the Kotesashi High School baseball team threw a party," and the key visual uses an original illustration by Mikawa. You can enjoy content that makes use of each character's personality, such as "Haruka's Training Room," "Chiki-Chiki! Kei-chan's One-liner Gag Endurance Race," "Toudou Aoi's Party Food Recipes," and "Shunpei's Playlist" (a music playlist selected by Chihaya to be played during parties). There are also plans in place where you can receive wallpaper by completing missions such as "Share the special site on social media!" and "Find the wise general hiding within the site."
To commemorate the release of the 20th volume, a campaign will be held at bookstores. A "Memorial Illustration Collection" will be distributed, which will compile all the illustrations used on the illustration cards and original papers that were distributed at bookstores when the volumes of "Wasurei Battery" were released.
"Oblivion Battery" began serialization in April 2018. The story is about a monster battery made famous in the junior high school baseball world, consisting of the flawless pitcher Haruka Kiyomine and the sharp catcher "wise general" Kei Kaname, who go on to study at Tokyo Metropolitan Kotesashi High School, an unknown baseball school. Kei has lost his memory and all knowledge of baseball, and by chance, the geniuses who had lost to them and stayed away from baseball also enroll in the same school.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to July, and the production of the second season has also been announced.
