"Great Mazinger" retro toy, a wind-up tricycle

A toy based on the anime "Great Mazinger," called "EX Tricycle Great Mazinger" (Plex), will be released. It will be priced at 10,780 yen.

The retro toy features soft vinyl figures of Great Mazinger and Ken Tetsuya riding a wind-up tricycle, and when you wind up the spring, the tricycle starts moving. It also makes a tinkling sound. The front and rear cowlings of the tricycle are modeled after Ken Tetsuya's machine, the Jetbai. The front of Ken's tricycle is fitted with Great Mazinger's punch, and the rear cowling has a movable antenna.

Preorders are being accepted on Bandai Namco Group's official shopping site, Premium Bandai. It is scheduled to be shipped in May 2025.
