The third episode of "Warota!" (Prime Video), a show in which the popular group SixTONES takes on serious comedy sketches, will begin airing at 4:00 p.m. on August 15th.
The guest this time was Hiroki Akiyama from the comedy trio "Hanako." In addition to being in charge of writing and directing the skit, he also appeared in the studio as a talk guest and said, "Among comedians of my generation, I am proud to be well versed in studio skits, so I was happy to be offered the role."
In the comedy skit "Like a Grandson," which Akiyama wrote and directed, saying, "I wanted to see a comedy skit with the six members of SixTONES," the owner (Shintaro Morimoto) of a local diner is approached by a part-time comedian, Sho-chan (Yugo Kochi), with a flyer for a solo concert. One after another, elderly neighbors (Matsumura Hokuto, Juri Tanaka, Taiga Kyomoto) appear, and everyone rejoices in Sho-chan's success. Then, another elderly man (Jesse) appears... and so on.
Everyone said they enjoyed the recording, and there was even a scene in the studio where Takada called out to the other members, saying, "Please take care of me even when I'm really a grandfather (laughs)." In addition, there will be plenty of behind-the-scenes footage of Kyomoto, who plays the "oldest grandfather."
In the sequel to the skit "Matsupin" that was first broadcast, Matsupin (Matsumura), a man disguised as a dog, once again storms into the home of professional baseball player Yamazaki (Morimoto) in the hopes of becoming his pet. The insane "Matsupin" performance has the studio members buzzing with comments like "Scary... (laughs)." Akiyama praises, "Their dialogue is amazing," to which Matsumura remarks, "I think there are things that can only be done because we've known each other for so long." Meanwhile, Morimoto says to Matsumura, "There's one thing I want to say!"
Other skits that will be broadcast include one in which Jesse plays a passionate teacher and Kyomoto plays a delinquent high school student, as well as a skit in which the six of them, including Jesse, take on the SAT.
