The Gegege Memorial 2024 event, which will be held in Chofu, Tokyo, a place associated with the late Shigeru Mizuki, kicked off on November 22nd. In response to this, a set of stickers featuring famous scenes from Mizuki's works, such as "Hakaba Kitaro" and "Gegege no Kitaro", entitled "Mizuno Shigeru Sticker Lottery Part (1) Kitaro/Kappa no Sanpei/Akumakun Edition" (Shogakukan) will be sold at the event venue. The product is part of the "Shogakukan Sticker Lottery" series, which sells stickers featuring cuts from manga in a lottery format, and costs 660 yen per turn. General release is scheduled for late December.
The stickers are A5-sized and come in a total of 11 types, including two secret types. They feature stylish designs of carefully selected frames from "Hakaba Kitaro," "Gegege no Kitaro," "Kappa no Sanpei," and "Akumakun." A set of 60 stickers with a cover will also be sold. All 11 types are guaranteed to be included in the set. The price is 39,600 yen.
The GeGeGe Memorial is an event held mainly on November 30th, the anniversary of Mizuki's death, and this year it will be held as GeGeGe Memorial 2024 from November 22nd to December 1st in Chofu City, Tokyo, a place that Mizuki had a connection to.
