The final episode (episode 10) of the drama series "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on June Getsuku, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 5.3% for households and 2.9% for individuals.
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the newfound free time she has at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months. The cast includes Kenichi Matsuyama, First Summer Uika, Motoki Nakazawa, Soma Santoki, and Shiro Sano.
The final episode was titled "Is it already too late!?"
While Oedo (Matsuyama) found fulfillment as an instructor at the sushi academy, he confided in Minato about his desire to once again make sushi with his own hands and open his own restaurant. Minato, too, was contemplating his future, wondering whether or not he should take on the role of store manager at the new supermarket. Meanwhile, it was the final day of classes. The graduation assignment was to create "one sushi of his heart and soul." Each student looked ahead to the future and made a sushi of their own choosing.
Then came the graduation ceremony. The story unfolded with the question of whether Minato and Oedo's choices would lead them towards a "positive" future...
