The NTV variety show "Ichi Shu Mawatte Shiranai Hanashi" (Things You Don't Know Even After Going Around in Circles), airing on July 1st at 7 PM, will feature a popular segment closely following the family of violinist Chisako Takashima. This episode will show the CD debut of Chisako's father, Hiroyuki.
Hiroyuki was once the music producer who made the Beatles popular in Japan. His love of singing led him to hold his first-ever concert last October, and he quickly followed that up with a second concert in February of this year. And now, at the age of 92, he has finally decided to make his CD debut.
A gathering of leading figures in the Japanese popular music scene marked the start of an unprecedented CD production. After jacket photography and a four-hour recording session, the CD was completed. At the release event, Michiko, the older sister of Chisako (nicknamed "Micchan"), also worked tirelessly to help her father.
Furthermore, Hiroyuki's next ambition, which even Chisako finds astonishing, is revealed.
