To commemorate the release of the final 13th volume of the popular manga "Land of the Lustrous" by Ichikawa Haruko, which was also adapted into a TV anime, on November 21st, all 12 episodes of the TV anime "Land of the Lustrous" have been made available for free on YouTube. Limited time only until December 31st.
"Land of the Lustrous" began serialization in "Monthly Afternoon" (Kodansha) in 2012. Set in a distant future where it is said that "humans" once existed, the story depicts the battles of Phosphophyllite and other characters who have bodies made of gems. The series was on hiatus for about a year and a half from December 2020, but resumed serialization in June 2022. The final episode aired in the magazine in April this year, bringing the series to a close after about 12 years of serialization.
The TV anime aired from October to December 2017.
