"This Week's New Releases" brings you information on new comics. There are about 310 major comics to be released between November 18th and 23rd. The regular version and special edition with a special photo album "A pop-up photo album with all sorts of things" of volume 7 of Nagano's "Chiikawa, something small and cute," which is also popular as a TV anime; the regular version and special edition with a poetry collection of the final volume 13 of Haruko Ichikawa's "Land of the Lustrous," which came to an end in April after 12 years of serialization; and volume 22 of Rumiko Takahashi's latest work, "MAO." On November 18th, in addition to the 22nd volume of "MAO," other items to be released include Sesshomaru from the anime "Inuyasha," which is based on a manga by Rumiko Takahashi, volume 8 of "Iden Ehon Zoushi - Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon," a comic adaptation of the anime "Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon," which features Inuyasha's daughters, and volume 18 of "Ryu to Ichigo," a shogi manga by Mitsuharu Yanagimoto, who is known for "Hibiki: How to Become a Novelist."
On November 19th, the following titles will be available: volume 11 of "Chojin X," the latest work by Ishida Sui, known for the "Tokyo Ghoul" series; volume 20 of "Draft King," a baseball manga that has also been adapted into a TV drama; volume 4 of "Dog Thread," an ice hockey manga by Noda Satoru, known for "Golden Kamuy," volume 17 of "Radiation House," which has also been adapted into a TV drama; volume 18 of "Zon 100: 100 Things to Do Before You Become a Zombie," which has been adapted into a live-action film and anime; and volume 9 of "Hotel Inhumans," which has been announced to be adapted into a TV anime in 2025.
On November 20th, the 15th volume of "Otoyomegatari" by Mori Kaoru, the 23rd volume of "Record of Ragnarok," which is also popular as an anime, the 17th volume of "Maeda Keiji Kabuki Tabi," based on the original work by Hara Tetsuo, known for "Fist of the North Star" and "Hana no Keiji," and the 7th volume of "Ghost in the Shell: The Human Algorithm," a new work based on the manga "Ghost in the Shell" by Shirow Masamune, will be released.
On November 21st, the regular and special editions of volume 7 of "Chiikawa: Something Small and Cute" and the regular and special editions of the final volume 13 of "Land of the Lustrous" will be released, as well as volume 18 of "Isaac" by Shinji Makari, the original author of the "Yugo" series, and DOUBLE-S, the illustrator of "Until Death Do Us Part," volume 16 of "Blue Period," which has been adapted into a TV anime and live-action movie, volume 8 of "The Darwin Incident," which has been announced to be adapted into a TV anime, volume 37 of the baseball manga "Ookiku Furikabutte," volume 8 of "Banned Mole" by Natsumi Eguchi, known for "Hoozuki no Reitetsu," and volume 7 of "To Shimazaki in the Country of Peace," which was nominated for the Manga Taisho 2024.
Other titles to be released include volume 65 of the soccer manga "Giant Killing," volume 5 of "Nikaido Hell Golf" by Fukumoto Nobuyuki, who is known for the popular manga series "Kaiji," volume 7 of "Twisted Sisters" by Yamashita Kazumi, known for "The Life of Genius Professor Yanagisawa," volume 19 of "Liaison: Children's Mental Clinic," which was made into a TV drama, volume 8 of the final volume of "My Recently Hired Maid is Suspicious," which was made into a TV anime, and volume 19 of "The Innocent Transfer Student Comes On Strong."
On November 22nd, store shelves will include volume 10 of "Yamada-kun and the Level 999," which is being made into a live-action movie, and volume 2 of the special edition of "Doraemon" commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Tentomushi Comics.
