" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living welling up from your whole body, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In episode 96, Takashi (Takumi Kitamura), who left Samsung Department Store to become independent, joined a group called the Original Manga Group and carried out the tasks assigned to him there, but it was far from smooth sailing.
To support Takashi, Nobu (Imada) begs Tetsuko (Toda Keiko) to let him continue as her secretary. Meanwhile, at Yagi's (Satoshi Tsumabuki) shop, Takashi complains that his manga isn't popular with the masses.
