On the 10th, it was announced that a second season of the TV anime series Wasou-kyaku Battery, based on Eiko Mikawa's baseball manga currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app Shonen Jump+, will be produced.
On the 10th, an event for the 21st installment of the popular anime series, Wondaful Precure!, entitled "Wondaful Precure! Special Stage," was held at Nippon Maru Memorial Park (Nishi-ku, Yokohama), with singers Chihaya Yoshitake, Ami Ishii, Moeha Ushiromoto, Cure Wonderful, Cure Friendy, Cure Nyammy, and Curelilian making an appearance. The trailer, which commemorates the birthday of Cure Magical, also known as Izayoi Riko, begins with the line, "I'm back, everyone!" A mysterious girl named Hisui also appears as a new character. It was also revealed that Hayami Saori, who plays Cure Felice/Hanaumi Kotoha, will play Hisui.
On the 13th, it was announced that the TV anime "SAKAMOTO DAYS," based on the popular manga by Suzuki Yuto, which is currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks every Saturday at 11pm starting January 11, 2025. On the 15th, it was announced that the action game "FARMAGIA," with character designs by manga artist Mashima Hiro, known for "FAIRY TAIL" and "EDENS ZERO," will be made into a TV anime and will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations from January 10, 2025.
