Fuji Television has announced that it will broadcast the Japan vs. Brazil match from the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 live from 12:50 AM on June 30th.
Japan advanced from Group F in second place and will face Brazil, the winner of Group C, in their first match of the knockout stage.
Brazil, ranked 5th in the latest FIFA rankings, is a well-known football powerhouse with a record five World Cup titles. Although they drew their opening match against Morocco, they went on to win consecutive matches and advanced to the next round as the top team in their group.
Japan will reach the knockout stage for the fifth time in three consecutive tournaments, but they have never won a match in the knockout stage before. All eyes will be on the Japanese national team, who have set their sights on "the best view in 2026," to see if they can achieve their first victory in the knockout stage.
